Hey everyone,

I've been on a smith kick lately and picked up a new model 60 a few months back and I'm looking for a better grip. The stock rubbers are a little thin for my liking and was wondering if anyone had an experience with the hogue monogrips for the j frame, are they any thicker? Or any other recommendations? I would love a wood grip but I feel like 357 might bite a little with wood. I'm leaning towards the mono over the oversized mostly due to aesthetics, however I haven't seen any decent photos of a 2in 60 with either grip to make up my mind.

Welcome aboard from ol' Wyo.

Everyone has an opinion.

Here's one:

Hogue Monogrip is functionally okay, but it's rubber, and it's ugly as sin.

S&W's Combat grip is far superior, and it's handsome.

Uncle Mike's Combat grip betters the Hogue in every way, but it's still rubber.

The Badger Combat is almost as good as S&W's Combat.

S&W's banana is old-school handsome and functional.
