Super Bowl Predictions!

I never thought that at all, but this isn't the Broncos you will be facing.

Watch out for the Statue Of Liberty play.;)

I used the term "everyone" in the loosest possible way. Even going over the superbowl prediction thread on here, there is a lot of smack talk. The Hawks are the team that everyone loves to hate. And last year there were a lot of people who thought manning was going to make it a blow out.

Why worry about smack talk and what others are saying.
Don't respond, that's the way to handle them.;)

We got 2 great teams facing off for the top prize, we are in.;)

I hope you realize the Patriots are loved by everyone.;)

Goodnight, I have a date with the Sand Man.

Seahawks: 1.01
Patriots: 1

Seattle wins in triple OT. Refs gives it to Seattle after Brady's geritol kicks in and he falls asleep.

I agree, Aaron Rodgers is a great quarterback, played injured.
Who knows what the results would have been if he was healthy.
That is just guessing.

It is a team sport, and Rodgers didn't lose the game.

That is what I think.

Yes, who knows, but Seattle's pass coverage gave Rodgers great running lanes and put tighter coverage on his receivers the whole game because they knew he couldn't run. If Rodgers had two healthy legs they couldn't do that.

Assuming one of your teams isn't in it at the end, who thinks that the BEST weekend of football is the two championship games just played? I mean pure football without the nonsense of the Superbowl". The Superbowl has become almost anticlimactic-even when the Saints won-we were just so happy to get in that winning was just lagniappe (icing on te cake for you non french speaking fellers;)).
I was gutted by the Seattle comeback-thought GB was going to have an epic win.
As far as the big game-I'm not afraid to say it-I LIKE BELECHIK period. No nonsense coach offers no excuses other than "we just didn't get it done". and moves on. He is kinda like the NFL's Saban. I also like Gronk. (ANd that guy Brady is no slouch either ;))

I have to get my Super Bowl list ready, food and refreshments etc.

Can't wait, just love all these playoff games, and of course Super Sunday.:)

Just got back from the store and picked up the 2 local Boston newspapers, everyone was is a great mood.:)

GO PATS:D

A pox on the whole mess

My prediction is that life is going to be miserable here in the 'burg with the West Side Anarchist/Narcissist population infesting it and being their usual filthy selves, compounded by the attention paid to the closest chapter of the National Felon League. I was hoping the Packers would win just to avoid this. Last night was just unpleasant with all the noise made by persons in dire need of un(screw)ing their priorities. The only good news is that the gym will be closed before the game starts and I won't have to put up with the worst of that stupidity.

4 games into this season, many in the media had given this team up for dead. Apparently, reports of their demise were greatly exaggerated. Disciplined, focused, and motivated, a Patriot win will cement their legacy as arguably, the best ever, period. Some of us think that they can lay claim to this now, but for the rest of the doubters, winning this biggest game will remove all doubt.
That being said, it will require a complete team effort, for the full 60 minutes, to make that happen.
So, for the next 13 days, listen carefully to the sound bites, and interviews, and all that, and at the end of it, one team will be so full of themselves at what they have accomplished, and the other will have one game left to win.
I'm embracing "The Patriot Way".

The super bowl victory will go to the team that remembers what got em there in the first place. If the Seahawks play like they did in the last 6 games prior to yesterday (physical, fast and loose) they will come out on top, but I believe it will be a close one, not like the blow out we had last year. If they play the Pats like they played GB it will be a replay of the Colts game yesterday. You give Brady as much time as AR had and it will be ugly. But I think the Seattle defense had a bad day yesterday - they didn't look like the same defense I've been watching all season - and the offense didn't come to the game until the 4th quarter...not good, not good at all. Can't do any of that stuff with NE.

I'll take the Hawks by 6 cause they have the heart and desire to go all the way. For NE, it's more of a business deal. Not as much emotion for them.

But I'll enjoy the game - win or lose! As a former lifelong MN Viking fan I'm just happy to have a team with a winning season. It takes a lot to just get to the big dance!
