My daughter lives on the Upper East Side. I've gotten to the point that I can get in and out without too much trouble now. She'll be moving to a different apt. in Oct., so dad has to move her again. You haven't lived until you dragged a dual axle u-haul trailer through Manhattan. Back in the 70's I used to play a bar in Greenwich Village. The city definitely seems cleaner/friendlier now but I'll admit I haven't been back to the Village.

Post number 27-------- He was in the village/soho.
Between Hudson ( I think) and 6th. The apt next to his just rented July 1! ( Number 2)
The rent is like 3000 a month. Nice huh? To live in a sewer.

I wouldn't live there for free. Won't even go in that cesspool anymore.

Back 40 years ago I had a bad burger in Billyjoebob USA, the burgers must still be awful. There's plenty of worse cities than NYC in every state in this country, I've been in a few.

New York City is a great place to visit, love the Deli's.
Just never go to Yankee Stadium wearing a Red Sox hat and tee shirt.
