Took the sigma to the range a few weeks back and shot fine. no issues at all. i cleaned the mags and gun afterwards and everything looks fine. but when i go to chamber a round the stationary metal piece in the handle assembly is gouging the round as it is loaded. does it with ever round in the mag and with different mags. not sure what that piece is though. if you have the slide off its located behind the mag insert point but elbows out of where the mag goes. maybe some sort of guide? i tried oilin it but doesnt help. i thought about grindin it but dont really want to grind stuff in case it is a bigger issue. also im going to assume that it would do it as i fired it with every round but not 100 percent sure if it would.

Happen to turn the mag followers backwards when you had them apart?

Springs back the right way (pressure on front of follower)?

OK, if everything is together correctly and your mag lips aren't bent, the ejector should just clear the cartridge case by a few thousandths. If it does not, don't try to fix it yourself, or you'll probably wind up with ejection problems. Your gun has a lifetime S&W warranty.
