Taurus "View" .38 special

Perhaps they could incorporate a small magnifying glass in the window, and an integrated cork screw, nail file, and a spork in the grip. Thereby giving some actual usability to this piece of junk. I'm sorry, this thing looks pretty goofy to me.

this is a really small gun. i took out my i frame terrier and H&R breaktop bicycle gun in 32 S&W and did some measuring. the taurus is .4" shorter in length and .5" shorter in height than the I frame terrier. the taurus is the same size as the H&R bicycle gun at 5.5" in length and 3.5" in height.

I'm waiting to hear about some clownshoe looking at the see-through side plate as he works the trigger, and shooting himself with it.

Oh you laugh, but it's going to happen.

This reminds me of some watches that have see-through backs. I don't like them.

It's also too light to handle recoil well and may lack durability, and the barrel is too short for ballistic efficiency.

And many US buyers dislike the TV show of that name, although the gun shares with its hosts an almost singular ugliness. I heard that Jenny McCarthy may join the show, or has. She'd be the one redeeming factor. Taurus doesn't have even that advantage.

If they chamber this thing in .357, it'll be an even greater blunder.

its only supposed to be 9.5oz.... I think this is achieved by the plastic side plate..... they could at least make it in gray or black plastic instead of clear.. but I like the lines, but don't get me wrong i'm not selling any smith to rush out and buy one... lol

Some people say, "there is a sucker born every minute." I might be that guy, even though it was a long time ago.

I would be delighted to own one of these little revolvers. :o

Admittedly, the J frame in my pocket has a titanium cylinder and weighs about 15 ounces fully loaded. It's also wonderfully accurate and easy (for me) to shoot with standard pressure, Federal Nyclad ammo that I carry. So, it "ain't going nowhere".

But, I think I would enjoy owning, shooting, and hopefully carrying one of these puppies. No worries. I can ignore the silly name and odd plastic side plate. ;)
