Just watched this great flick and Chance most certainly did not walk into the river! He was walking on water when the movie ends. There is no one in Washington that will be able to do that no matter how highly they think of themselves

Actually, the movie this brought to mind for me was Wag the Dog.

This whole thing was BLATANTLY obviously a Reichstag fire in search of an "enabling act" for gun control... and maybe more.

The Republicans need to not let up for one SECOND.

The liberal media (and I'm a liberal) might WANT to ignore this story, but when they smell blood in the water, they're like Humboldt squid. Anything that looks weak or wounded gets attacked and torn to shreds.

This was true until the 2008 campaign and election.

Firing political appoimtees is certainly an impeachable offense.
Selling guns to Mexican drug lords pales in comparison.
