I shoot only outside, so anything goes, but my 4.25" Python has been making every trip lately....guess its growing on me
I shoot rifles twice a week. This is a Winchester 52D with a Lyman 25X scope. The rifle is from 1964 and the scope even earlier. The attached target will show you why I shoot it a lot. That is five shots. The coin is a Barber Nickel.
That SK ammo is some good stuff. The BSA Martini 12 I think dates from late 1930's. (I need a better glass to make out the Birmingham proof date) The scope is a Litschert 20X, likely from the late 40's. The plebeian Roosevelt dime will have to do.

Very nice, that's what I want next. Is that a MkIII, or...? I have a 22/45 MkIII I want to trade for a MkIV Hunter (long barrel).
I usually take my M41 on all range excursions.
My "Every Trip Range Gun" and Traveling gun
is my old reliable 15Oct1997 S&W Mdl 617-1
22lr 4"bbl 6-shot revolver.
