I haven't seen a Jeep wave thread for a while!
I usually wave, but don't usually get one back from street Jeeps. Bought my '97 new. Hmmm. . . The only thing totally original on the drive train is the D-30 front axle, well, it does have a truetrac and 4.56 gears. I'm still running a 231 T-case, but it's a JB heavy duty.
Before the TJ, I had a '68 CJ5, a '46 CJ2A, a '73 Wagoneer, and a '70 Bronco, if that counts. My wife had a '96 Grand Cherokee before getting her present '99 Grand Cherokee.
I've been saying I won't but another SWB Jeep until they put in a factory V-8 -- we'll see how long I hold out! As long as the hemi is running good. . .
