Seems like every week there's an article about the NFL reviewing the officiating of one game or another.

Shut up and let the refs do their job. Coaches, players and fans are gonna always complain about missed calls or tickytack calls that shouldn't have been made. It makes waking up Monday morning tolerable having something other than work to complain about.

While I'm at it can the NFL be any more Woke than it is already? Now we have the Taylor/Kelce saga. Doesn't Pacheco have any family members to be shown when he runs for 30yds?

Why don't we see this visual slobbering in any other NFL game? I'll tell you why. Rumor has it that the Taylor/Kelce lovefest was scripted by the NFL and most likely Swift's publicist. Read an article about it today describing how things like this have been done in the past. A simple online search should bring it up.

Good thing the cameras didn’t focus in on Jared Goffs soon to be.

Swimsuit model Christen Harper.

So she can’t sing.

That's why

That's fine for the advertisers and the league. What I wonder about is why the man in the street cares more about who is throwing a ball than they do about who is running the major corporation that drives the economy in their town.

Might be because the people with the big money on the line stoke up the peasants using sports radio, the media, their other favorite "retired" athletes, etc. Money buys all kinds of influence these days.

No doubt that in general .. priorities today are out of whack.

Most pro sports--and college now also--went off the rails long before call reviews became a thing. I gave up on the NFL when some guy just had to do his victory dance for making a tackle when his team was behind 42-7.

The main reason I was rooting for whatever team was the Chief's opponent. Probably not a good idea to get into the political endorsement angle here.

This is my first year to ride the NFL bus since the kneeling, National Anthem BS. With all the soap opera drama, rule changes to further whimpify football, I am seriously thinking about getting off at the next stop. I want 70s football rules and players!

ZZZZZZzzzzzzz....

I understand "The League" had to do something to make the game "safer" in the light of all of the concussion litigation. The injuries are devastating to the players.

Having said that, the new "kinder and genteel" NFL has turned into an endless interference by both the on field officials and the control center in New York.

Players play the rules now. A simple "hit" leaves players rolling around on the ground to garner a more severe penalty. Every pass can draw a penalty that is more productive than a reception. Did the QB actually expect a reception or a pass interference call? Does "protecting the QB" now trump an intentional grounding penalty?

Every Sunday I learn "new rules". Are you kidding me?

We cut the cable years ago and stream all of our TV watching. Do you know what you have to do under these circumstances? It takes multiple subscriptions to watch the games that you want to. Now I'm hearing rumors of future NFL games will be only on "Pay per view"....are you kidding me?

The problem with getting old is that you remember how things used to be. Settling for less becomes more and more of a problem.
