I have serial # 200XXX, and the guys here have fixed it to around 1912------somebody will be along with a more specific and earlier date!
 
Here's my 6" .32 Safety Hammerless, serial # 157,5XX. Factory letter states it was shipped in January of 1908, so I would guess yours were manufactured at around the same time. I know the photo isn't the best, but I'm still trying to figure out this picture taking stuff.

was yours lettered w/ the pearl grips. there was a debate as to wether these were factory or not. no emblem, medallion, but some say early ones didn't have them. thanks, rick
 
No, it lettered with hard rubber grips. It also has a star after the serial number to indicate it was sent back for factory work. I'm guessing it was probably re-nickeled and am thinking that maybe that is when the pearl grips were added.
