Might as well add this one to it. A four screw, Model 10-2 I picked up this week. It looked really rough in the case at the dealer's, but a couple of rounds with some Flitz, and a couple of coats of Ren Wax, and it at least looks presentable.

It came with a set of WELL worn mismatched diamond magna's that didn't number to the gun. The right side checkering was almost gone. I took them off and put them away, and put these aftermarket (Thai?) set I had around on. I later took them off and put a Hogue Monogrip on.

Here's my favorite 10-5 and my daily carry gun. Born during my birth year 1969 with a slightly broke in set of nos diamonds on it...I know some will say they aren't correct but man do they look pretty!

10-5 that I inherited from my FIL. It has the box and papers but, no cleaning rod.

He purchased this revolver, at my suggestion, from York Arms in Memphis, TN. York Arms, at that time, was "the place" where most folks in the mid South came to outfit themselves before serious hunts out West and to the dark continent.

Here is a pair of them. One post war transitional (blued) the other a pre model 10. Except for actions they look identical.

Here's a model of 1899 with a four digit serial number. The great-great grandpaw of every model 10. Not much finish left on it after almost 120 years, but it'll still shoot pretty well.
