The Ultimate Model 10 Thread!

My first post. Just came from a friends home. He had purchased a Model 10-7 38, that has the wording Marcus Registradas, under the Made in USA on the right side of the pistol. What is the meaning of this and does it effect the price of the pistol? Thanks for any help.

No, they all say that. And it's Marca Registrada, I believe, rather than the plural. It's Spanish and it means, essentially, that the S&W logo is trademarked. Does not affect the value.

My model 10-6

I have fancier, more powerful guns but there's just something about this old girl that makes me keep her around. She has seen a lot of action and still locks up tight and shoots where pointed.Right now her home is on my nightstand,a fixture in my home, she lays there with my keys, wallet, and my Frank Beltrame switchblade after a hard days work.I love this old gun and it is as much of my home as the front door.I guess we have been together way too long to ever part ways lol.

Really need a silver or gold t grip to replace the black one on the pre-10 snub.

And a lefty holster. Some guns are too good to retire

O.K. I have a Model 10 (sort of) coming to me from G.B. It started out as a 10-6. I don't know who built it. Never saw a 8.75" barrel on 1. If ANYONE can tell me anything about it please do so. I will post real pictures after I get it. Bob

My 1 and only Model 10. (sort of) It started life as a 10-6 (1967) Then in the 70's it was converted by Cheshire & Perez in Ca. Around 1980 PPC limited barrel length to 6". This has a reach out 8&3/8". Got it earlier this month. Smoothed trigger, and action job are obvious. This was won on G.B. for $505. In my book, a lot of gun for the money. I do not plan any completion shooting. Do want to try it on steel plates at 50 yds. Bob
