First you talk nice to her and show her some respect. Then you start to woo her. Maybe buy her some flowers and have them sent to her workplace. Buy her dinner some night.

All joking aside, the SCSW says the -2 change started in '82 and ended in '85. I'm sure someone will be along to narrow that down.

This has been one of my most favorite threads on this forum. But up until recently I haven't actually owned a Combat Magnum. Well that all changed with the pruchase of a very nice 19-3 w/ 2.5" barrel. It has a serial number of 6K292XX. Has gas ring on cylinder and came from factory with target hammer and target trigger. Now I just have to find a 66 2.5"!! :D

Hope you like!!

That is a GREAT beginning to the C.M. world.

Thanks, I just got it last week.

It's got some holster wear, but the crown, end-shake, timing, are all perfect, no flame cutting what so ever.
Mechanically, it's in wonderful shape.

Pinned and recessed

I gave her a mild tune-up and WOLFF spring kit. Like all K-frames, the gun shoots wonderfully

I've always bought L and N frames, but I have fond childhood memories of shooting a 4" K-frame with my Dad.

This is prefect for teaching my daughters to shoot, and will make a fine home defence gun for my Wife, as she's not confidant with my 1911's

I'm still dying for someone to pop up with a nickel 3" 19 and a 3" pinto 19... I know they are out there... Someone dig in the back and unearth that safe queen...

Just for the Thread...Here's my 66-3 3" purchased Nov. last year at auction. ser # BBT 1826
Oh, by the way the grips are leaving, have a set of Keith Browns coming.....Hideout Roper...

Shouldn't the 66 come in a blue box? Mine did.

Weather was beautiful, so I took some outside pictures of the 19-3 for better lighting. Lovin' this gun!! :D

I love this picture, but it looks like there is some frame damage at the edge where the barrel attaches. It is just a weird reflection!

I know it's been altered, and that might be a sin, but you should have seen the before pictures.

That may be the finest smooth sided Hogue Monogrip I have ever seen. The new rear sight screams business.
