I was introduced to steak n shake in 2000 at the national flat track races in Springfield Ill. Wish we had them in Texas.Come on down to S/W Missouri. I left Chicago 3.6 years ago. Not a single regret doing so.

I just can't get myself to even try a McRib. Mystery meat in my opinion. Just what exactly is it? Same with the Taco Bell mystery meat..
Back in the Devonian Period (1960's) I used to like the Filet of Fish sandwich, which at the time was pretty darn cheap...at today's prices, they must be serving lobster....
I can't believe McDonalds has guts enough to sell the McRib in Memphis.![]()
My spouse will order 20 McNuggets and down they go...and she doesn't even like white meat chicken...go figure.
As a matter of fact, McDonalds does serve a McLobster. It's a local item sold at McD's in Atlantic Canada.
I saw them being advertised when I was riding through Nova Scotia. With whole lobster so cheap, I never did try one.
Back in the "old days" I frequented Dirtys in Austin. Home of Martins Cum back Burger. Dans also, and Huts. Austin had good hamburgers.
I try to avoid Austin nowadays since it's occupied territory, and rather hostile.( I lose my appetite every time I have to go there.)
