Thinking of a new BG 2.0

Yes Beju your right. I'm going to wait a couple of weeks and hope that newer ones that were made this year will be in stock as I'm sure they will.

It shouldn't be long, as S&W has enough BG 2.0 production capacity for there to be 6 distributor exclusive color versions of them.

I haven't bought a gun from a Rural King, but maybe you can ask your store manager when/if they can get a BG 2.0 in for you. Some people have had luck doing this with hot selling guns that were out of stock at their local Bass Pro/Cabela's.

Rurel King has a website you can order it and they will ship it to the Rurel King store closest to you for free.

I'm close to a RK. Both RK and Dunham's have them in stock, but I'll
wait awhile before I go look.

My MGW Ranger Master did move the factory sights, but it required a large amount of "uuggaa" to get it to go. And boy did it make a terrible sound.

Don't give up. Feeding round by hand may not work while actually shooting them just might. My Sig P365 does not work well when hand cycling but is 100 % when shooting.
Yes on both counts. Concur with a PP that a really solid support makes a difference, when drifting the sight with a vise and a drift. My Real Avid sight pusher will move them, but the sound is terrifying. I moved one for a guy at our Club, and he won't let me near his guns ever again.
Guys over on the Walter board often try to dry cycle rounds in the PPK; you simply can't cycle the slide as violently as the gun when it's fired.

One thing I noticed (just bought 4 BG 2.0s. from my LGS for family) while doing an initial 50+ round break-in on each, is that if I pull back the slide and release it on a full magazine, the slide is slightly sluggish. So I got in the habit of pushing the slide forward with my thumb to ensure it was in battery. The pistols seemed to be breaking in nicely now, and I'm getting the slide release to loosen up as well.

These are really AMAZING tiny pistols, they shoot like a much bigger pistols

Also, I randomly tested old Winchester hollow point, some Hornady Critical Defense, and some other crap hollow point with FMJ. All ran well.

My .380 defense ammo of choice is Federal Hydra Shock Deep.

At this time, with less than 300 rounds through the pistol, I have none of the mentioned troubles. None whatsoever. It racks as easily as any, I can load the mags, both 10 and 12 round, by hand to advertised capacity, all the ammo I've tried works flawlessly now. The guide rod insertion has never been a problem. The only thing I've done to the pistol is polish the feed ramps and replace the sights with the XSSights. I have done those two things with every gun I ever owned. I just removed the front XSSight because I think it's too high. The gun shoots low with the taller front XSSight, so I still have the rear XS SIght on, but put the OEM front sight back on. It could be me and not the gun. I haven't had a chance to shoot it again after swapping it back. Might have to check my grip. But mechanically the little shooter is flawless. It feels much like my EDC Shield45 in my hand, but my Apex Shield trigger is lighter and shorter travel. The trigger and grip are something I'll have to get used to.
