My GSD (Max) and I have been getting up at 3:15 every morning. This morning the clock said 2:15 when we got up! Sure has been a long wait for breakfast! Don't know if we can wait until our normal nap time after lunch or not. Might have to change everything an hour.

Max must be related to my dog. That's his time to get me up for no reason, too. :D

Being retired it really makes no difference to me in a practical sense. However I do prefer standard time and wish it would stay that way.

Agree whole heartedly with standard time! Was stationed in AZ for almost 9 years and they do not go to DST. Stay on MST all year. Never really noticed much difference on when the sun rose or set.

I like the twice-yearly change in time. It gives me the opportunity to chuckle twice a year. (Before you say it, I do chuckle at other times too.)

Anyhow, a 1 hour shift either way? It's not that different than driving to an adjacent time zone. I haven't heard anybody having trouble with that. Fly to Europe or Australia and jet lag might get ya. But that's significantly more than 1 hour. Yes, the light does change somewhat. But it's different in summer vs. winter even without the daylight saving time change. Here in the PNW, it's ALWAYS gray and dark, so it's hard to notice the time change!
