Whoa! Cocked and Locked, what is that beautiful little monster .44 Magnum?

This one? Its a 629-5 2.5" barrel fixed sight (product code 103839), made for Camfour Distributing Co. in year 2000. Each one is numbered...mine is #013. These were shipped from S&W with Hogue rubber grips.

Supposedly 300 were made. I guess only S&W knows for certain. I think there are some new versions out there with the internal lock...but not for me.

jimmyjoe...both the 28 and the 629 are very nice! I'm especially drooling my coffee this morning over the Mountain Gun...nice case colored hammer and trigger and no lock...nice wood to top it off! Very nice.

My most recent N frame, a 3 inch 29-10 "Bounty Hunter", with Hogue grips ... I still have not settled on which grips I want on this one.

It *WILL* be getting the "Plug" and will have the locking flag removed. This is my only gun with the Hillary Hole and it will be taken care of.

This is my first photo attempt, so I hope it works. A shot of my 27-2, which I purchased new in 1975. It is a 1974 model, so it shipped with service stocks, which I still have. I added the target goncalo alves stocks way back when.
