To my friends here... "I regret to inform you..."

May God bless your son and your family. I cannot thank your son enough for giving his "all" for this beloved country.

My prayers are with you and yours.

till here and still everpresent in my thoughts and prayers

We formed small prayer circles at church today, prayers were again offered for Elijah, Mom and Dad, his wife and child, and those in the 4th ID affected by his passing. I continue in my sorrow.

I am so very sorry for your loss. May God grant you and your family some peace during this rough time.

May God bless those who do so very much for us.

RIP Son.

I will ad Elijah's name to those I pray for, both still with us and those that have gone before. My heart goes out to you and yours. God bless Elijah and be with him. I thank him for my freedom and my liberty. Thank you also and God be with you.

The nation is diminished by your loss.

You have my most profound sympathy.

I type this with tears in my eyes. I watched the video of Sgt. Rao's return home.

I am proud that America still knows how to honor a hero.

Welcome home Soldier. Your duty is done, Rest in peace.

Condolences

In all the world's languages there are not the words to relieve your pain. Hold on to the fond remembrances of Elijah and know that we your friends grieve with you.
Wakatomika.

I feel for your loss. His service is and well be remembered by the Americans that know how expensive and precious freedom is in terms that are not economically explained

Sorry to hear this tragic news about your boy.

My condolences to you and your family.

I watched the video of Elijah's return to Oregon with great sadness and tears in my eyes. God bless him and his family always for their sacrifice. Greater love hath no man than that he lay down his life for others.

John

I feel so sad....as a Nam vet I still question why?

Freedom is never free.

As a Veteran myself, I am thankful for the younger generations that are willing to carry on the torch, to go into harms way, to keep us safe, while knowing the risk upon themselves on behalf of their fellow countrymen.

Celebrate Elijah for his life, his courage, and his belief's.

There are no words.

I pray for ease for you in the process of dealing with your loss and your son has my gratitude, as well.

You will all meet again.
