Alpha rail will be in tomorrow afternoon. i decided against hacking the d ring so i will be in need of tools. what armorers wrench and upper vice block would you recommend? this is for an OR model.

I believe that all armorer's wrenches are the same. I just went with a 20 some dollar one on Amazon and it worked great when I built my 300 upper. Just make sure they're quality, because I have heard of the teeth breaking on very bottom end ones.

Have never bothered with a vice block, but I also believe that those are all the same as well.

You can also get an old *** 30rd mag that you havent much use for. Vise it up in the weapon and use it that way. If anything gets scratched, it'll be that *** mag.

i dont know what all the fuss is about getting the gas block off is. took me only a couple minutes to get it out. and that was mostly prep work. 4 strikes with the hammer is all it took.
