I prefer blued guns Vs. stainless, and as others have stated M-15's in good condition are getting harder to find, at the price you've been quoted.

Depends on your intended use. If it's going to be a rough country packing gun or a tackle box gun, get the stainless 64. If it's a gun you intend to shoot a fair amount, get the 15. My preference is always the older gun, as they were made back when there was more pride in workmanship. I guess the fact that I have 2 15's and no 64's indicates my preference.

Like many have said if it's a range and home defense gun get the Model 15. If it's a carry gun get the Model 64
