Yeah I've heard that removing that outer spring , plus the lighter striker spring, leads to light strikes and reset problems....no thanks

Well, if you already have one just send that one out. I'll take the video and you can pick the camera up at the local pawn shop. I'll even show you how to do the trigger job by telephone.
