Do you have any photos, or at least more information about the gun? Barrel length? Type of finish? Caliber? Fixed or target sights? Bore condition? Mechanical condition?
not much more information.
saw it on my way camping and i called this morning to see if they still have it, which they do.
it was labled as a 44 hand ejector.
it was blued with about a 6 inch barrell. i only saw it for about 15 seconds and did not pick it up. the finish was about worn off. the stocks had the finer grooves and were about worn down. i believe it had the underlug, but as i said i only glimpsed it 2 weeks ago.
the owner of the shop said it was in good mechanical condition and that it was a triple lock.
i hesitated to ask him more since i prefer to look them over myself. just wanted a ferel for it to see if should drive out to see it again.
they were wanting $750.
i do not remember what type of sights. is there a big difference between target and non target for the price?
If it should be a 7 1/2 in. barrel , with service sights, it's worth a lot more than same with target sights, as long barrelled service sighted T-Locks are ten times scarcer than target models. Regardless of what it is, $750 is not out of line for a good shooter T-Lock, but that's asking price - so you might get it for a little less for cash now.

6.5" barrell w/ target sights. Little bluing left and some dings. My opinion is used but not abused, but you need to see it if you are considering purchasing.
Service stock w/out medallion. Shouldn't it have had the medallions for that period?
If anyone interested go to wild bill's guns in mollalla oregon.
it looks very similar to lawandorder's 2nd revolver on the first page. lawandorder's is in better shape imho.
no idea if the adjustable rear sight was correct. can not find a good picture of the top to compare it too. it was definitely different than the ones on my 50's m-27 though.
saw rifling left in the bore. but the damn thing hadn't been cleaned for awhile. even the cylinders had powder residue that was visible. so no idea on how good it would be after cleaned up. forgot to check for flame cutting.
screws had not been buggered with. some dings but seemed from honest wear and not abuse. but that was the first triple lock i had seen let alone held.
the screw on the stocks was caked with grime and they hadn't came off in a long time.
since it was a cash only deal i was out of the running and didn't go further.
no idea if they are willing to take pictures or not. the owner of the store didn't seem to know too much about old smith's so i don't know how much of a help he could be.
the owner of the shop did state it had not been lettered to his knowledge.
