Yeah , local ABC news is saying due to the small crude bombs , it points to domestic right wing fringe groups like those behind Oklahoma and Columbine!

This is a tragedy for all Americans which should lead us all to ask how safe are we in our daily lives. Boston is one of the great American cities, and the marathon is a great American event.

Very sad indeed. I am very interested to hear why? What possible reason would someone have in doing something like this? ie what's the bomber's "cause"? Not to make lite of the situation, but could someone have had a vendetta against the marathon for being left out or ???
I do hope that if the party responsible is a foreigner that rather than send them back to their country, make an example of them in a very very very ugly way!

Well apparently there is no suspect in custody as of the press conference I just saw, so unless this is old its back to could be anyone.
CNN is already saying, "Right Wing Extremist" could be behind it.
Imagine that.

News conference just now 6:00 PM est, No one in custody. Two bombs exploded. "Suspicious" backpacks blown up by police. JFK Library was not the same kind of a bomb, it was a fire, possible firebomb, don't know.

Gee, somebody didn't want to just exploit the "gun show loophole" to do some real damage!

That's horrible. A Marathon is such an peaceful event. We have to stay together, find who's responsible and prosecute them accordingly!

I assume you are referring to BHO. I doubt that, so far he has not called it terrorism (which it obviously is). It could be right wing, left wing , Islamic or just some nut with a desire to get his or her name in the paper.
Latest reports I heard is, victims are reporting bearings or shot was included.
IMO, it is a lot harder to commit something like this without leaving a lot of evidence.
If he or she had bought an AR-15 and converted it to full auto, the death count would have been a lot higher.
