I don't want to pay for reissue of every ID/DL in the state just to annotate whether I can buy a gun. In the long run, it will be no different that the current system--someone constantly checking your status and updating the "system."

What's your thoughts on the 800 number idea? If the NICS check was simplified to a DL# / SSN# entry?

Wonder how we would show proof of running the BGC? Bill of sale with NICS confirmation number notated?
