^^^This Graydon.^^^ Prayers for you and Dorothy continue. I'm thinking of you Sir.

Graydon,

Our prayers continue, too, and we hope Dorothy is pain-free, and comfortable, and that you can find some peace in all this sorrow and sadness. If it turns out as you have been told, then Dorothy will be with her Maker, and no longer suffering at all. That is a very good blessing, and one not to be taken lightly. God Bless you, Dorothy, and your family, Sir, and please continue to keep us posted.

All the best,
Doc and Sweet Bride

Prayers for you and Dorothy. Come back when you can and if you feel like it.

Graydon,

Sometimes ranting or rambling is the only way to release the stress or pain that one is dealing with in their life. As you have seen so far, we are here to listen and to give you whatever comfort we can via a computer and prayers.

Please continue to visit the forum and talk to us like an old friend and let us give you comfort and some relief. The forum is intended to be a place for expressing your feelings and thoughts. Those of us that visit are just the voices in the darkness that you hear but cannot see and all we want to do is try to help ease the pain and let you know there is no loneliness as long as you have us.

My wife's father was with a hospice service in the home for his last days. The hospice nurses were the best in the world as they assisted him in his final days and they also helped the family as they visited.

May God bless you and your wife.

Had to take her to the ER at OU Med center early yesterday morning . They ran another Cat Scan and found that her bowels had been perforated and the cancer has spread to other organs . She had fever and a very high WBC count. They are trying to stop the infection but not too much chance. She is classed as terminal.
They are keeping her until Monday and are intending to transfer her to a very nice hospice facility close to our residence. This will allow me to be with her each day. That is her wish because she realizes that I am not able to provide the care that she will need.
She is one tough lady. Much tougher than I am.
Several people from our church have had family in this facility and are high in their praise for the care that they provide.
We thank everyone for their prayers and concerns and please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Sorry for the rambling post.

Graydon

Enjoy your time with her...we are here if you need to talk....our prayers to you and your angel...God bless both of you

Having lived through the loss of my wife just 5 years back, my heart go out to you. Not something I would wish on anybody and not an easy thing to have to deal with.

I will say an extra prayer tonight for you and your family!!

God speed!!

I have been there myself. My wife passed without warning. though I knew she would pass away soon, I couldn't have been any more prepared.

My prayers are with you and Dorothy.

May God be your comfort and strength.

Scott

My mother was in hospice before her passing. I can't speak highly enough of the people that work there and the service they do.

Dorthy will have the best of care until the Lord is ready for her.

God bless and keep you both.

There really aren't words for a time like this, just know you are in all of our
prayers and God bless you both.

I'm offering prayers for your wife and for you. This is a very trying time for both of you. I am so sorry. Sooner or later, we all have to leave this world, and it just isn't ever easy. No words can ease the pain - just trust in God's goodness and mercy.

John
