Well, I first logged in here to ask for help ... my slide wasn't going back on the 910. I had ordered a metal guide rod and Wolff recoil spring and the damn thing wouldn't go back on (all three levers depressed, hammer forward, all the basic stuff). Finally tried an umpteenth time and it worked. Awesome!!

So obviously, I upgraded that first plastic part to metal. Anyone else do any upgrading to their 910? What would you recommend? I've gathered mags, I've cleaned it inside and out (it's in amazing shape to begin with, can't have many rounds through it and probably never carried given the lack of holster wear). I even got it a big brother to share mags with (KelTec Sub2K).

What would you good folks recommend I do next?

Replace the plastic disconnector with a stainless steel one. Numrich has them, but they're a NY outfit and are shut down due to Corvid19.

Sights...

Both Trijicon & XS make a steel sight to fit that gynormous front dovetail. And the plactic rear sight (if you have one) is rubbish and belongs in the recycle bin.

So, you can opt for a complete set of night sights from either XS or trijicon or... Use an standard factory steel Novak lowmount p/n: 107920000 paired with a tritium front from Trijicon (SA26F) My preference would be a blacked out rear with and tritium front.

Factory standard weight S&W recoil spring p/n: 060480000

Dunno what metal guiderod you are using but the best choice would be a solid one piece lathe turned part so that's the 4006CHP / 4006TSW guidrod p/n: 903370000

Cheers

Ditto on what Bill said, the plastic sights are the weakest link on these Value Line pistols. It is the only thing that I would upgrade on a 910. The plastic guide rods are fine as they are IMO, unlike a staked-head guide rod, they will never come loose. I run plastic guide rods in all of my value-line pistols that came with them.
