I found a cop-turn-in 4506 on gunbroker or uction arms for 450 shipped to my ffl. I cannot get it to choke if I try. I feel something is wrong, as it won't quit. Am I doing something wrong? Please help. (Yea you guessed it, I had a bunch of 1911's, and they all puked).

I've had two of them. The first I got right when they came out, the ones with the flat blade rear sight, not the later Novak version. The second I got about two years ago, for around $425. It didn't look like it had seen more than maybe 20 rounds, and had everything in the box except the second mag. 4506-1 model with adjustable sights. NIETHER one ever choke, stalls, fusses or quits. They are great guns! I carry my 4506-1 daily.
