That's a BOX.

Traditionally, a brick of .22 LR is 500 rounds, usually 10 boxes of 50.

I was in Walmart today. I've never seen their stock so low. They had one box of 22 mag and I bought those for my single-six pistol. Although, they did have about four or five boxes of 100 round 12 ga target ammo.

That stinks. It was dead on accurate for me in my area. I literally could see an item in stock on my phone, purchase the last three boxes and see them gone online by the time I got back to my truck. It updated that quick. I wonder what their logic is for taking down the ammo search?

I would have said 'historically' over 'traditionally' these days.

It seems more and more manufacturers are moving away from packaging in standard quantities.

.22 bricks use to be about like a 5# bag of sugar. Unfortunately, while the price remained the same, the size doesn't anymore.

Here is what I have found.. I only found .22LRs in one Walmart 20miles away.. Sadly someone bought the limited stock before I got there... But I did stumble upon Federal 9mm Value Pack 100's.. Got my limit. Manager told me he got 25 cases in today.. There were 4 boxes left at 11:40am
