Was Planning on a Gun Show but ended up in the Hospital

Hope you're doing better and the pain is subsiding.
MRSA,unfortunately, is usually a hospital induced problem.
We have to place our trust somewhere I guess, but the statement " Trust but verify" applies here.

I am being discharged hooray.
My back and its collapsed disc is and was the issue and will have to heal on its own.
The others are still throwing the ball around to see what they don't have to do.
The infectious disease is about the same, so they tell me that number went up because I got stressed due to back pain?:( The Neurologist people want to follow up in about 5 weeks, I'm hoping this is over and done with in the next two weeks
Our Hospital system in this area is not the greatest, and there is only one other to choose from that isn't affiliated.
The only reason I came back here is that the history involving this goes back with my cancer and I do say the cancer center here is great.
Bottom line I'm going home!:D

Thanks everyone for your thoughts, I do appreciate it tons!

It's great to be home, the dog likes it too! :D
Have had bruised ribs in the past but a cracked, compressed disc, never!
Pain meds are working along with the good old heating pad.
I have to say that the pain I experienced with this is far more greater than I have ever had, even worse then when I had my heart attack so many years ago. I'd hate to feel what it would be like with a broken neck or a broken back? Don't want to experience that and wouldn't wish on anyone!
Would have rather went to the gun show though!:D
Just kicked back with nothing to do? The wife has given strict orders to do absolutely nothing, that's hard to take?
Sure beats being in the hospital though!;)

Sorry that I missed this as I my plate has been full the last few days. I am glad you are out of the hospital and on the mend and I will continue to pray for your comfort.

I just left there myself as my blood pressure dropped. If ya feel like throwing a prayer my way I could use it.

We both should have taken out the extended warranties, huh?

Glad you're on the mend and on the way home...or home already.

And doctors said the collapsed disc would have to heal itself?

At least this didn't happen while you were on vacation!

Rusty thanks for the thoughts, thoughts and prayers back your way!
If this business keeps up they'll have reserved rooms for us!
Extended warranties, they want to keep taking parts from me and not replacing them? The Neurologist stated the other day that they could put cement in my disc to support it but said it wouldn't last! What's the next thing an Earl Schieb paint job? :D

Or...the disc could be replaced with one or more taken from a (seriously...don't laugh) cadaver. A friend of mine had that done years ago. Funny thing, too...before the surgery, he didn't know to dance a lick. Now he can cut a rug with the best of 'em. :D
