Well it was bound to happen. Payed to much for a .32-20 with no cylinder stop

It's a 5-digit serial number .32-20. What are the odds a more modern version will fit?

Slim to none. You probably need a cylinder stop for a revolver that uses the screw and spring that is in front of the trigger guard.

Please post a picture of your revolver with the side plate removed.
