Went shooting yesterday

like i said, it's not strongly enforced, if even at all. i don't know any one who has received a fine for it. that don't mean that there is not that overzealous cop out there that wouldn't tack it on just because. it may even be one of those laws that is not a primary offense. one that can only be applied if there are other fines.

i see just as many vehicles with the hitches in as i do with them out.

I still want to know why it is illegal to drive in PA with a hitch and ball on the back of your vehicle??????????

It's not illegal that I am aware of. Not unless its a fairly new law since I retired in 2000.

maybe it is a local law then. it's been mentioned to people i know, just fines not handed out.

i know the two local that i am in the most(Oil City and Franklin) can both be very strict on things.

philly is a "whole 'nother state"...lol...basically impossible to get a ltcf(license to carry firearms=concealed carry permit). we are an open carry state so i don't have to have a permit to carry my sidearm, as long as it can be seen. i need the permit to carry it hidden. getting the permit was as easy as going to the county sheriff and signing a paper, a quick background check, and having my pic taken...gave them 20 cash and walked out with the ltcf that is good for 5 years.
