What a like new S&W 610 prelock 4 and 6" worth.

I just paid $750 for a 4", in the same condition that you describe.
The no dash 610’s, the original run of 4,560, only came in 5” and 6.5”. If they are in fact no dash 5” and 6.5” with boxes, then you’re looking at $1500ish for the 6.5” and upwards of $1750 for the 5”, depending on condition. The original no dash revolvers are very desirable and getting very scarce.

Edit to add: I may even be a bit low on my estimates. I just looked on GB completed auctions (all 9 pages!), and no comps. Closest I could find was a 610-2 for $1700+. There are a couple of -1’s with several days left, so I expect them to go north of $1500. The -1’s with full underlug and unfluted cylinders are also very desirable and have developed almost the cult following of the original no dash revolvers.
Another edit: here’s a screenshot of a post I made in a thread about 610 prices back in Feb ‘21 showing some current completed GB prices. I’d add about 20-25% to account for inflation and increased valuation.

My bad, I missed the no-lock part. I did though, buy a no-lock -2, 6.5" with everything for $1200 about 4 months ago.
Is the other one a 5” no dash? If so, I’d make him an offer on the pair together and see if you can get a good deal. They are only going to increase in value and would make a good investment if you can get both for a reasonable price. I’d throw $2500 for both out there and see what he says.
