Junk how about Thunderbolt 22lr ammo.
Hey! I shot tens of thousands of squirrels, coons, possums, a deer or two, and those pesky tin cans with 22 thunderbolt out of a 510 Remington single shot. To each is own I guess. IMO colts are junk. I owned 3 colt revolvers and they all had timing issues.
How about Levi's...In the old days they wore forever, darned near farmer proof. 14 ounce denim. Now light weight denim made Egypt...give me a break! Legs twist, Try to figure out the size......
Depends on what you're talking about. In the 50s a car was likely to be pretty worn by the time it had 100k miles on it. Today it's common that a car looks, rides and runs like new at 100k miles and rarely need a "tune up" that was typically done every 5-10k miles in the past.
Well, I can tell you one that I used to think was pure junk & that is Hyundai! I worked at an Acura dealership years ago & the owners decided to add another more lower end brand to the lineup, you know, to cover more bases & increase our customer base. The cars were total ***'s. They would come in on the transport with defective transmissions. In fact, we had to STOCK transmissions to keep the things rolling. The parts support was nonexistent. It was always fun having to tell a customer that we'd have to keep their car for a couple of weeks till we could get parts for it! That was back in the nineties, & I know they've come a long way since then & have really turned their image around. But for me, that first impression killed the chances of me ever driving one.
Well genius, I'm happy to report they HAVE "turned it around" and now produce cars that are as reliable as the best...more so than most "high-end" *** brands that are all about the name.
While TOYOTA and LEXUS had to recall virtually EVERY car they sold in the last decade...Hyundai has not.
While EVERYONE with a brain knows that German made cars are DESTINED to have electrical problems that can NEVER be solved by their "authorized dealers," Hyundai has no such issues.
The POINT IS, times CHANGE, and companies CHANGE, and companies seek to move their product UP-scale....
I've owned a few Taurus revolvers and found them to be 100% reliable and while not (at that time) possessed of the fine finish of an S&W, they were MECHANICALLY just as good....
Landcruiser, not to be confused with Land Rover which equals high-end/$$$ junk.
