What did you do with your S&W today?

I removed and reinstalled the cylinders from all but one of my S&Ws tonight. The other one, I did a couple days ago. I watched Larry Potterfield's video, and couldn't believe it was that simple.

I just got a new to me 24-3 4". Had to oil it up and then took it out back to the range and ran 38 rounds of hand loads through it, that left six in the gun and six for a speed loader.
After a little sight adjustment it shot great, even nailed the gong @ 100 yards a few times.

I did a thorough cleaning on my 27-2 this morning, including tearing the cylinder down and wiping down the internals after pulling the sideplate. She wasn't that dirty internally, but there was some carbon in the yoke where it mounts the cylinder. Now she feels much better and cleaner and I put her to bed.

Carried one of mine (the 640 Pro), in the pockets of two pairs of pants through the course of the day. Fortunately, no valid targets presented themselves.

I CARRIED MY 642 TO MY DAV MEETING TONIGHT. IT'S BY MY SIDE, AS I WATCH TV NOW. IT WILL ACCOMPANY ME TO 2 MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS TOMORROW. SUCH IS THE LIFE OF A PERSONAL PROTECTION WEAPON…….

Friend was showing me his new 45 acp. So I asked could I show him My J frame. Now he is wanting to buy it! Guess I'll be more careful bragging!

Took my 649-2 out of my pocket and put it in the safe. Loaded the range bag w/ a Glock 26 and Glock 19 and went to the range.:eek::eek:

About 95% of the time I am carrying and/or shooting a Smith revolver. Today was a 5% day. BTW those Gblocks sure are crude tools compared to any of my Smiths.

Did not handle any Smiths today, but made some FOOD for my .38's. 2.7gr Bullseye, with 148 gr wadcutters. Bob

Yesterday, brought home the latest addition to the stable, a 29-3 and though from my view point about 98% , cleaned it and fondled it for awhile before putting it in its stall.

Carried and fondled my 696.

Sat in a cold deer stand all day with my 5" M27-2. Beginning to think this gun is jinxed - this about the 6th trip out with it and - nothing.
Pretty day anyway.

Smiths had the day off carried an sp101 357 2 inch. Day off work went to two lgs one had a nice 686 6 inch used. Not a pre lock, if so it would look better here than the store. Keep looking I guess. Also saw a beautiful marlin 336 stainless 30 30. Came home didn't spend a dime.
