What Did You Reload Most Recently?

100 rounds of .38SPL wadcutters: 2.8gr AA#2 Improved under 148gr Wadcutter (Remington bullet, Winchester brass, Federal primer).

Just reloaded 300 38 spls, 250 .45 ACP, and 150 .357's. I am all caught up...we had some rainy days recently so I had alot of time on my hands. Now I get to enjoy... and my hunt is renewed to replace my primers.

Don K., QuickLOAD estimates your load is generating 23,426 psi, with a muzzle velocity of about 975 fps. SAAMI maximum for the .44 Special is 15,500 psi. As a side note, QuickLOAD also estimates that 71% of the powder is burned before the bullet exits the barrel, and a ballistic efficiency of 17.2%.

I'd be interested in knowing how this velocity estimate compares with your real-world results (when your chronograph is available again).

Thanks RidgwayCo ! I know this load is way over SAAMI for .44 Special. I'm shooting these in Magnum guns only, and I don't own any .44 Specials. With my limited experience, I would say that 975fps "feels" about right. I will surely run some over my chrony as soon as its working again.
As a side note, before my chrony died, i was able to get a bunch of ..44 Specials in WW cases with a 250g. Keith over 18.5g. of Lil' Gun and Wolf L.P. primers. They averaged 1078fps out of the 3" -29 , and 1011fps out of 3" ported Trail Boss if you want to check QuickLoad/reality. Thanks Again

6mm USN for my Winchester-Lee straight pull. I used 4350 and 105 gr Speer bullets because I can't get anything closer to the 112 gr original loads.

Yesterday I loaded up a small batch of .30-40 using Speer 180 grain spitzers and IMR 4320.

I got a bit over 100 done and will do a bunch more tomorrow.
We are going to shoot some .41s, and some other stuff, to celebrate the 4th.

I need to make some .250 Savage and .308 but that has to wait a while.

I went back to making target .45s a couple days ago. My son needed 200 for his last practice with the .45 before leaving for Camp Perry on Friday. I will load some .45 hardball today or tomorrow and then finish up some .41 Magnums. Then I can make some rifle rounds.

Daughter came up for vacation this past week for vacation. She shot up ALL my 38s and half my 357s. Gonna load the 38's w/125gr Missouri Bullets & Unique. She says she LIKES my MOD 15 snubbie. Esp since she shoots at an indoor range in Fla that wont let her pick up her own brass
