What Did You Reload Most Recently?

100 rounds of .45ACP -- 4.3gr AA#2 Improved/185gr Missouri Bullet Co. LSWC/1.235" OAL -- for my two .45 revolvers. It feels alright in my 5" 625-6, but it feels really light in my 6-1/2" 25-2.

I also broke my reloading bench in loading these (the top, to which the press was mounted, is MDF and apparently really sucks for high-torsion applications...like single-stage reloading). Guess now's as good a time as any to build a better bench!

MDF is OK if it is several layers thick, like mine. 4 layers thick around the edges and 2 in the interior. Press bolted through the full thickness. Overkill, I know, but I actually built the bench for woodworking projects and hijacked it for loading.

Ah, mine is only 1-layer (about 3/4", maybe a whole 1") thick. It had been flexing for a while, as it wasn't very well supported. I guess the last 50 rounds of .45 was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I'll be either replacing the top with real wood, or building a new bench altogether...

One box (50) of 3.3 gn Bullseye behind Speer 158 gn LSWC-HP, Federal case, Magtec primer, med to med/heavy crimp. Very nice accurate load for my snub nose.

50 rounds of heavy 45 Colt:

290 grain cast Keith bullet from RCBS 270-SAA (my casting)
18.5 grains of 2400
50 new shiny, freshly trimmed Win cases
WLP primers

Loads for the sidearm- Elk hunting in W. Montana.

50 rounds of M1 carbine. 5 different small rifle primers (10 each) with same brass and powder charge. Just checking to see how much primer makes a difference.

Just did 200 of my favorite .357...4.7 HP-38, small pistol primer under a 158 grn LSWC ( I cast my own using a 6x Lee Mold). Casted 800 bullets for my .45 ACP. They are on deck for my next cold rainy/snowy day.

To christen my repaired and improved reloading bench, I loaded up 100 rounds of .44 Magnum today (50 x 18.5gr 2400/240gr LSWC Competition Proven bullets/1.610" OAL/Starline cases, 50 x 18.5gr 2400/240gr LSWC Competition Proven bullets/1.608" OAL/IMI cases)

Continuing right along: 100 rounds of .38 Special -- 5.8gr AA#5/158gr LSWC Valiant bullets/1.440" OAL/Federal cases/Winchester WSP primers

Do shot guns count?

I got sidetracked into shotguns so I've been loading 28 gauge shells for the last month or so. Found a MEC Jr. on Craigslist and 4lb of 20/28 and 4lb of Unique from Recob's online (nice people to do business with, BYW). Also got a Lee Loadall for 20 gauge if I want to load a different shot size than store bought.

I had previously primed 9mm, 38 spec, 357 mag, 44 mag and 45 Colt and have been feeling the urge to veer back that-a-ways. Need to start casting again, too.

32 s&w long with fed std primer and 2400 powder with a 100 fn lead bullet. loads of fun in an 83/8 16-4

I finally made some .250 Savage ammo for deer season.
I had some new Winchester cases that I'd primed a while ago. Powder was H4895 and the bullet was a 100 grain Remington PSP.
Those bullets have worked fine for me on deer in Rem factory ammo, and in handloads for years. Most I've shot, with either factory ammo or my reloads, dropped on the spot.

Now to make some .308 with 150 grain Rem PSPs for my son to use.

Some heavy 38 spc and 357 for a buddy of mine and a few .243 for myself.

Another 40 rounds of 6.5 Swede with Varget and Spear 140g Spitzers. Topped off with some more 41 Mag with Sierra's old JHC bullet as well as some Winchester JHP's

I need to buy some more .303 brass and some more bullets for the Swede. 41's are getting low also.

I deprimed, resized and primed some .308 cases yesterday.
Tonight I loaded a few .308s with 150 grain Remington PSPs for my son to shoot in deer season.

I also made myself a few .308s with 165 and 175 grain bullets. I have a Ruger VT that does not shoot 150 grainers well. Tomorrow I'll sight in deer rifles and see if the VT likes the heavier bullet loads.

Cases were Remington Peters for the hunting ammo and LC, IVI and Black Hills for the heavy bullet loads. Primers were CCI Large Rifle and powder was H4895.
