Do those clear the barrel???? Wow, talk about a softy...
50 rounds of .38 semi-wadcutters. This time I used my usual load (5.8gr AA#5, Winchester cases, Winchester WSP primers, 1.440" OAL) but changed bullets to the Remington swaged/tumble-lubed bullets. Hopefully this produces better accuracy at 50 yards, as the base of these bullets is completely flat (and not inconsistently beveled like the Valiant bullets I was using before). Plus, these seem to be swaged rather than cast, which should give better consistency, too.
We'll see, but I won't be able to get out to the range until Friday (dinner tonight, range is closed tomorrow), and it'll likely be a madhouse there (all the kids are home for the weekend), so I dunno how much I'm going to be able to practice...
