What do you actually CCW?

9mm S&W 940 in custom pancake holster. Better balistics than 38 Special, but not as tough on the hand as the 357 magnum.

My ole standby: Colt Cobra in EPS Street Combat loaded with six FBI swchps, and Badger grips:

I've been carrying a Gov't 1911 during the winter. Just got and switched to a Bersa Thunder .380. Now on the hunt for an appropriate IWB holster; the Uncle Mike's floppy sleeve is functional but not real supportive.

LOL

The 239 tells me she's not ready to retire. She can retire after 20 years. BTW, she was asked to respond 2x in those years with positive results. No one got hurt and both situations were sorted after she stepped in to intervene.
I love this gun.

Most of the time I carry an Ed Brown 1911, but I always have a S&W 642 with me. Once in a while I carry my M-24.

Spring-Summer-Fall, depending on attire...442, Kel-Tec P32, or Kahr PM9.

Winter, LW Commander or SIG 220....

I don't carry very often locally, although I probably should. ANY time I leave town I have my Colt Mustang Pocketlite C&L in a Del Fatti pocket holster.

If I'm in the woods, then it's a 629 MG and 210 gr. Silvertips. I ought to carry my Combat Commander more. If I loose a few more pounds, my size 40 pants will be too big and I'll need that 1911 in a IWB to take up the difference.

4" 325PD or 329PD, all day, every day....Comptac CTAC holster ('til my VM2 gets here next month). I find this combo extremely comfortable, much moreso than carrying one of the Glocks, in my experience.

The Colt Lightweight Commander is carried on occasion, in it's own VM2....or the 3" 65 (in another VM2) on even rarer occasion.

I really like the lightweight N-frames!

Always one of these three:

Combat Commander in a Milt Sparks IWB , S&W 642 in a pocket holster, or my S&W Mountain Gun (loaded with .44 specials)in a Simply Rugged pancake holster.

When I am in a revolver mood I carry my 640 in a belt, pocket,or shoulder rig in the winter months. When the Semi-Auto mood strikes me I carry my CS9 in a belt holster or shoulder rig.For those times where it is not PC to carry I slip my Kel Tec P3AT into a Nemises Pocket Holster and go about my day........God Bless....Mike

Here's a blast from the past; from 30 years ago, my Model 10 HB stoked with Remington +P 158 grain SWCs and shown in its Bucheimer Federal Man Model 320 high-rise holster. Just came in the door and took it off.

I guess I'm a true believer in using the Smith & Wesson revolver for personal self defense.

Most typical is either my 442 or my Glock 19. I really prefer the 1911 platform, but I find them to be just a bit big unless I'm wearing a jacket or untucked button down shirt. The 442 and G19 are very carry-able wearing most anything. One of these days I'd love to pick up a CCO sized 1911, but I not going to drop the $$$ on one until I find out if department regs will allow a single action. (I'm currently in testing)

It depends on clothing and occasion. For pocket carry, Seecamp LWS-32. For IWB, A H&K P7 in a Milt Sparks vm-2. When I can carry OWB, it's between a PPK/S, Glock 36 or a 637 Airweight. All things considered, I usually go with the Airweight.
