what is your favorite M&P?

Of the three I own, the .45 is the one I would grab going out the door...

I traded my 380 Insight Bodyguard in because it was a piec...well, never mind. I currently have a 9 Shield, FS9 and a 9c. If I could only have one it would be my 9c. It runs flawlessly, will take my FS mags, conceals and carries well, is as accurate as my FS at 25' and is quicker and more accurate on follow-ups.

MY first, picked up today! M&P 9 with thumb safety. Put 100 rnds of white box through it no issues.

I love them all, for different reasons, but I have to admit, the 22c is five hundred dollars worth of fun for three hundred bucks....My first came in 2012 (9c), then I was hooked....my first 22c has over six thousand rounds through it, my 9c has over five thousand, and I do carry it the most (concealed), even though my EDC duty sidearm is a Glock 17, and I own several other models (19,26,17 comp'd,17L), there is something about the 9c that just feels right...

Newbie here.

After much research... I like the 9c. 13 rounds when wearing a t-shirt to cover my ccw. Or... 18 rounds, with extended mag, when concealing is not such an issue. I am out of the country right now and when I get back I will take my new baby home. Just dreaming now.

Glad to meet everyone.

My first one, a Compact 9. My FS and Shield are fine guns, but the 9c will always be #1.

I had the FS45 as a duty weapon. Since then I purchased FS9mm and a recent production 40 Pro CORE. The CORE is the best.

kinda have a thing for my 45Cs.

I am going to say my Shield .40 because I loved it so much I converted from "Glock guy" to "M&P guy." I traded my G21 bedroom gun and G23 (won't be needing that with a Shield) for a .40 Pro long slide and am increasingly pleased with the trade. It's my new bedroom gun. Just finished installing an Apex polymer trigger and 1/2 duty/carry action enhancement kit. Striker block change is waiting on Trijicon sights. I'm sure I will end up shooting the Pro a lot more but if I'm bugging out for a hurricane the Shield will be the one coming with. It is a serious fighting caliber and conceals better than most.

justanother22shooter, I concur. Wholeheartedly !! However, going by the original question I have to agree with what seems to be the general consensus. Between the 3, 9, 40 & 45, all FS I would take the 45 without thought. It is my edc as well.

I'd sure never argue against.45ACP as a self defense caliber! But .40S&W has been around for a while now and works well by most measures. That defense aside, my wife just gave me a $ off coupon for this weekend's Tampa gun show (she's a good wife). There have been so many votes for the.45C I'm feeling the need to lay hands on one, though I think I'd go for full size, if I was going to buy another M&P this week, which I'm not... probably

I only have one M&P .45 4.5in. all the rest aren't I put 50rounds through it and it's been sitting in the safe for 3yrs.

I would have to limit the questions to handguns only, because the M&P 15T would win every time - but if I had to select my favorite (including my XDs, XDm and LCP), it would be the Shield 9. Main reason is its the one I prefer to carry, and in the self defense range of 10 yards or less, it shoots like a much bigger gun with impressive groups.

I've had a 9c for a little over 3 years. Love it. Shoots great and it's more accurate than I am. Would love to have the new trigger installed, but that's for a later date. Might have to aquire a 9 or 40 fs someday. Picked up a Shield 40 yesterday and can't wait to throw a couple hundred rounds through it!
