What NOT to wear when singing God Bless America

Well what about when reporting to an officer (indoors)? (seriously.. in the Air Force we solute to an officer indoors when reporting.. without our cover)

Ditto what USAF385 said! If you saw an Air Force Troop inside a building with a cover on, it meant he or she was armed!

The perspective has you fooled. That is the mothership from Close Encounters hovering over the stadium.:p

When Kate Smith sings 'God Bless America', the hair stands up on the back of my head.

I just wish I could "Express Myself" like they do......Not what your thinking.... as it would be news-worthy................

I could be wrong here....but I suspect any woman that wears hats or clothing like the pics posted in this thread, may be looking for attention.

Or trying to draw away attention from her face?

I love it when my wife wears a hat, but they are in good taste, not like that crap.

The Marines only wear a cover inside if they are under arms, a salute is proper then and only then, You never salute when bare headed....period. You are never to be bare headed outside unless for some training cycle or wearing special equipment that would make wearing a cover (hat) a problem using special equipment.

what he said.

"I thought we also stood, and removed our hats for 'DIXIE'."

You're dern tootin'!!!!

Marines and sailors are only covered indoors when under arms.

I was taught that while we were never to salute unless covered, a salute, even when undeserved, was ALWAYS returned, covered or not.
