Ya just gotta put things in perspective. I have been using this same policy for the last 25 years of my LEO career. Is it because of some sort of written directive? No, it's because I got old and fat. The last one that ran from me woke up at 3:00 a.m. with me and another officer standing over him shining flashlights in his eyes. That said, after watching the video I suspect the mayors directive had less to do with insurance and more to do with a busted relative or friend. Where's Eric Holder when we really need him? This lady's got a future in the current administration.
