Two things:
1. Kostner added nothing to the Robin Hood movie. I also don't care for Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio (Maid Marion). Her eyes are too far apart and I find it a major distraction, but the rest of the cast was great. Morgan Freeman and Alan Rickman made it a tolerable movie. Rickman is an AWESOME bad guy. Die Hard, Quigley Down Under for a couple of examples. And of course Sean Connery adds class to anything he's in even if it's just a cameo appearance.
Planes Trains and Automobiles is arguably the best comedy ever made. The concept is ingenious. An up tight, button down "Dilbert" and a freewheeling slob of a traveling salesman. Too funny! And the supporting cast was a riot. It was the best performance either Candy or Martin ever did and they owe it to each other.
That'll buff right out
