What's for dinner?

I am living vicariously through you folks as I am no longer on solid foods.

bon appétit
Rusty, have I already mentioned discovering by accident a no-frills meat-rice dish? Chop up 2 slices of deli turkey/RB in a bowl, cover with rice and cover that with turkey/RB gravy, depending on the meat. Even though I no longer have an appetite (long COVID?), this is actually fun to eat. Went back to Ensure Plus at lunchtime, can't hurt. Rao's frozen pizza tonight. Love ya, Rusty!

I deeply appreciate the kind sentiment. My taste buds have gone AWOL. I am at the stage where everything I ingest tastes like boiled Pampers. My nutritionist turned me on to Boost Very High Calorie. It is what is keeping me above sod.

What is puzzling is that the only two things that haven't lost their flavor for me are coffee and orange juice.

Go figure.

I was going to go out and BBQ "Three" all Beef hot dogs on the grill in the nice weather we are having, today
but I could not find them in the refrigerator !!

I HATE it when that happens..................................

Made a pasta salad yesterday:

A pound of mini bowtie pasta cooked al dente.
A pound of peeled/deveined raw shrimp cooked with (2) garlic cloves and half a green pepper in a sauce pan with a pat of butter and some olive oil.
A jar of Delallo tomato bruschetta.

I mix it all together in the sauce pan so the pasta takes on the flavors and the transfer to a large bowl to chill. Nice summer treat.
