It was fabulous! And like I was telling my daughter, pork is so cheap - there were two pcs that size in a package for $12. We ate half of it, so what we ate was $3 worth.

Pork loin stuffed with cream cheese and scallions. Wrapped with bacon. On the Traeger. First time we've done this version and I thought it was gonna be good, but it far exceeded my expectations.

Last night we made some Ground chicken patties. Put peppers and mushrooms in them. and ate them on a bun with garlic mayo and a slice of Vidalia onion

Meijer's rotisserie chicken.
Early dinner after a morning of practicing up on my old man harmlessness with M1 carbine and 1911. Was hungry and needing a quick fix. Pulled stuff from freezer/fridge. 1/3 rack of hickory smoked/Jamaican jerked baby backs, 2 hickory smoked hot Italian sausage sandwiches and a watermelon steak. Everything is again right with the world, and even the demonic life threatening tour pests will not disturb the nap.

This evening we is having BBQ baby backs...momma made Tater salad with lots of HB aigs and I'm gonna nuke an ear of corn each. I almost bought a couple of beers but they don't sell 'em that way...so I guess the bad, mad one is having sweet tea and I'm gonna have a mountain Dew...she is right this minit making from scratch Brownies. And tonight she said we're getting some homemade bread for tomorrow to go with chili I'm gonna make. Gotta do this baking while the temps are down...72 right now...was 48 last night. needed my ol home made quilt. Gonna be a 100 by Wednesday so no baking then.
Leftover house special fried rice with the last two steamed pork dumplings. Heated them up in the same bowl and drizzled some honey on it all for a bit more flavor.

She's a genius. We had a lot of taco meat left over so she concocted taco hash.
Fried taters, stewed tomatoes and cheese. She hit this out of the park.

I used to take Mom's leftover taco meat and add both ketchup and picante sauce to make my own sloppy joe's. That looks really good to me. Tell I said two thumbs up.
Beef Meat loaf on the Weber Kettle with Zucchini for a side.

Well, now that Beryl has passed, the eye went right over us just outside Houston, and the power just came back on after 7 hours, I shall have power to heat up dinner. Now I don't have to have cereal and warm beer like Hawkeye did.
