Just a Diet Coke and large fry from McDonalds tonight. I don't usually eat there but just flew back from the UK tonight and was craving them. Hadn't had decent food in a week

Some of my most pleasant culinary memories originated in England.
There are still places like this in America!!?? If I were to buy this place, I would never have to go out to eat. And Rusty, I deliver to you and your family. I may forget to bring the check... Kaaskop49At present the boys are 4 blocks away in root beer heaven.
Marinated chicken thighs on the Kettle, Italian parm zucchini and my wife's Delicious deviled eggs .

Had usual wiscobsin Friday Fish Fry. Perch, Bluegill, walleye and Jumbo shrimp along with coleslaw, fries and rye bread. Beer chasers before during and after. I just woke up from my food induced recliner nap. Read a few posts comment on a few and then off to bed. Gun Club picnic and trap shoot, on the agenda for tomorrow.

Black eyed peas cooked in pressure cooker, skillet cornbread, cottage cheese and tomato salad. (I grew the tomatoes)

I pulled a pair of the leftover salmon patties out of the freezer three days ago. The first one went to a sandwich with provolone (they make such awesome sandwiches). Tonight I had the second with mac-n-cheese, and green beans with taters. Pretty full right now.

Tonight was bacon fried rice, a burger chopped up in it, and broccoli. Not bad, pretty salty though. Last night I was running late, and it was 2 French Dips from Arby's with no cheese on them and no dip, and a small order of potato cakes. I hate cheese, and the dip is just too salty. I just like the chewy bread better than the "Classic". Arby's did a very smart thing bringing potato cakes back. Never should have cancelled them.

Heard about this little place in Bunnell that has great fish. Drove down to check it out for lunch today, they use my favorite fish...Alaskan Pollock. Would have been better if I ate it there, but they only have outside tables. 100+ heat index, I ate at home.

Made a meatloaf tonight and cooked up some portobello 'shrooms in a skillet. Both were great.
Eating healthy tonight (and tomorrow night). Chicken stir fry with a whole bunch of veggies, water chestnuts, a sauce mixture I made, and some pineapple jiblets. My stir fry sauce is a creation of my mind including soy sauce, red wine, cinnamon, honey, garlic and a few other things.
It's delicious. The problem with my cooking is that I can't replicate it.
Low cal meat and veggies. I didn't fix any rice. We've been eating that the last two nights.

Those eggs look awesome! I've been on a bacon and cheese omelet kick, lately.

It's around 101 degrees here today. Definitely not Fall weather. But I'm going to cook up some hot wings for dinner, anyway.
