My next revolver is going to be another custom. My gunsmith tells me he has a blue N-frame (frame) that went through a fire but he thinks it is still usable. I have a 4" 625 barrel and a stainless 625 cylinder. I thought I was going to end up with a "pinto" which I wasn't very excited about…but it was just going to be a holster/range gun. However, the same gunsmith tells me he has a friend in the business that does a black finish similar to Glock's Tenifer. A non-rusting, very durable, black 45 ACP revolver with a fine trigger and sights of my choice has me kind of excited. Can't wait for him to get his current projects out of the way so he can start on this one. (smiley face goes here)

Well, bought two guns in the last eight days. The latter is a Colt cobra snub nose that fits perfectly my hand. I love the way it shoots. I had the thought...oh no, now the Colts will start calling you if you clamp down. No more for a while.

Yea, I have said that before.

Okay, back to this thread. If I could get my hands on a 27-2 3.5 in 95% condition. I would find some way...I'd put in on lay away if I had to, sell the dog, what ever.

I'm wanting a short barreled 27, or a four inch Python. The Python is my grail gun; I've never owned or shot one, but it's like looking at Carmen Electra naked: it's just GOT to be good. Had a four inch 27 one time, foolishly sold it, and have wanted one of those all business 3.5" models ever since.

???????????????

I have nothing on my Radar at the moment.
I have about everything I really need.
I am pretty bad about just finding something I want/like, and adding it to my herd.

A 3" 686-4 in a 6 Shooter would be nice, but I have a 3" 66-2 that I am very happy with. So I really do not have to add one.

I am trying to do better.

I'm at the point where i'm pretty satisfied with my revolver collection, i've consolidated my S&W collection to a few models that particularly interest me (model 15's, 686's, and 640/649's). I've been way more interested in collecting CZs the last 6-8 months or so.

I wouldn't mind getting a model 64 but I'm largely hesitant buying used revolvers online anymore after getting 2-3 that had issues (timing, B/C gap). So until I find one that I can check in person before I buy, i'll happily enjoy what I have.

629 with a 6" barrel.

Just bought a 60-10 and 686-2 though, so the 629 will probably be a ways off.

Model 60 is coming in April, but I would have to say after that a 629 4" with full underlug. It'll be my hunting buddy! I kind of can't wait, even though my wallet can. After that I am going to try to get my hands on a 5" .460V.

On the hunt for the following a 627 PC, R8, 19, I am a sucker for 357 smiths. Also looking for a 41 w/ 5.5" barrel

I hope the new year finds me looking at one or any of the following:
A 4" or 5" HD
A M26 in 6"
An earlier M&P 2" (half moon sight)

--other than that, I've SWORN off! (wife says a sarcastic 'sure!)
