What's going to be your next Revolver?

 for the gun

:D for the price

I got a Ruger or two hanging around, but, in non-S&W formats.

:)

Is that a 357 or 44 ? When you shoot it, do you have a hard time holding on to the handle ?

Something pre-lock, 3 or 4 inch, blued finish, chambered in .357/.38

Or a .357/.38 "pocket" revolver for conceal.

There's a couple of rifles I want next so revolvers may have to wait.

A stainless steel 317. If Smith ever makes a fixed-sight snub-nose no-lock 22LR revolver in stainless....I'll own one. I may as well post my unlikely desire here like a lot of other folks. I won't stoop low enough to buy a Charter or a plastic Ruger, but I'd pay-the-price for a good one.

Well I plan on the next one to be one of these :
2" 64 w/flash chromed hammer & trigger
2.5" 686 "-4" or earlier
3" 624

I'll start my search after tax time.

I ordered a new M63 3". I wanted a .22 revolver plus my wife can shoot it too.

This past year I've acquired a Mod. 10 2", a Mod. 19 2&1/2" and a Mod. 29 3". Really liking the bigger bore snubbies. Hope to find a .44 or .45 (preferably a .45 Colt over an A.C.P.) with a <4" barrel. Or a Mod. 27 3&1/2". Shooter grade is OK by me.

One of those new 929 JM PC 9mm (8 shot) revolvers just announced.

Of course I may find something P&R on the used market first...

I'd like to find a 640 Carry Comp in .357 and a 66-4 Super K.

Hadn't planned it this way, but it looks like it'll be a nickel M-36. After that, on with my search for a nickel 4" M-19 and an M-18.

Well NOW I'm gonna look at one of those 629 9mms, thanks guys!

Really, first on the list is a 3" full lug Mod 60 for Mrs. Hotlead, after that, these....

3" 625 .45acp
3" 66/686
G.I. M-1917
2" .38 Victory
4" 325 PD .45acp

Thinking Model 327

I have a mid 80's Model 36 with changed grip - use as cc or open carry on daily basis. Was considering pistol with more fire power like a 40 cal but really like simplicity of revolver. Hope it's not too bulky for easy cc but reviews cast it as smooth & accurate like my model 36 & ok cc if carried high in holster.

My next revolver is going to be another custom. My gunsmith tells me he has a blue N-frame (frame) that went through a fire but he thinks it is still usable. I have a 4" 625 barrel and a stainless 625 cylinder. I thought I was going to end up with a "pinto" which I wasn't very excited about…but it was just going to be a holster/range gun. However, the same gunsmith tells me he has a friend in the business that does a black finish similar to Glock's Tenifer. A non-rusting, very durable, black 45 ACP revolver with a fine trigger and sights of my choice has me kind of excited. Can't wait for him to get his current projects out of the way so he can start on this one. (smiley face goes here)

My list of wanted revolvers is too long to list but I like the sounds of your project.

What do i buy next ? I have all what i need in Revolvers but why do i keep looking for one ? It's like a drug. I have from 22 to 44 mag -from snub nose to 6 in. S&W & Ruger. What can i buy for 2014 ? Now i know why guys start getting into collectible. It's the hunt..... I was looking on line for hours today looking for my next gun and the only one that i found is a Python 4 in. 357.
I should of just when to the range and bang out a few hundred rounds..... What do you guys look for when you have all what you need in Revolvers ?

I REALLY need to pick up a M460 in 5" barrel...but then I also need a M29 4" barrel...maybe 6" barrel!
Then I need a .22LR...revolver

If I buy one gun this year, I want it to be a 640.

I bought a lot of revolvers in 2012, none in 2013. In fact, I thinned the herd a little last year .

2013, my goal was to wear out the revolvers that I have by shooting them.I did my best and shot hundreds of rounds multiple times a week.
I was unsuccessful. This year I intend to double down and reach my goal.
