What's the "LIKE" thing in the bottom right corner?

I have liked reading a lot of threads that I disagreed with wholeheartedly. Also I've learned to at least be suspicious of people who are always likeable or better, avoid them like the plague.

These kids now have their own language too, for FaceBook and all this nonstop texting nonsense. People have started to use this on internet forums, and I'm like "you're not sending a text!"

Not everyone knows what things like " IDK hav u chekd w/ur gun dealer=), >>>>>he might have sum kewl stuff to go w/it" means.

I get all this nonsense from my coworkers who send me texts all day with the "ROFL can u believe wat she said OMG LOL"

Yesterday I had 4 likes, today only three. :( Do they expire?
Does the Forum provide the counseling, or does the new health care law?

LOL'd

This is my first visit to the Office, like; i just like; PM'd a dude & told him like; this is like; the funny-est thing, like; I have ever like; read. Um, gag me with a spoon???? maybe.

And I dont even know what LOL'd means.

All I know is it is cluttering up my notifications with alerts that someone clicked "liked" .

I am OCD and now have to constantly clear my notifications as I like to keep things tidy:D

PLEASE!, Make it STOP!

Or at least put a don't like, can't stand, hate, yougottabeoutofyourmind, option to click.

The TARGET is a huge improvement. Thanks for the consideration as the little hearts were making me gag. I'd much rather accumulate targets, if I must. :)

Agreed. If we absolutely must feed our fragile egos via # of Likes, then the bullseye is the way to go.

Sorry Corpulent, I had to like it and you earned it with that avatar.

(o) This be my own version of the target.

Personally I'm indifferent to the "like" thing. I'm gonna say what I got to say "like" it or not! And if you don't "like" it, that's what PMs are for. Dale

Now that I have a "like" I realize I could not stoop low enough to accept the throne of a little country like England. I now require a kingdom large enough to be suitable for a slightly likeable S&Wforum member.

"Like" ???

What is this "Like" feature? Why is my formerly scantily used PM capacity being taxed with "likes" ? What is this about? Why should I care? ???
