What's the one gun that has always been in the back of your mind...

I had an older S&W model 41 always had problems stove piping. I sold it and I have always intended to purchase a brand new one that has the S&W lifetime warranty. Just has not come to pass as of yet.

A nice Merkel, Griefelt or equally nice 16 gauge over and under haunts me at the end of every pheasant or quail hunt.
I have several 20 O/U's and a 12, but a 16 would sure be nice

A blued 4" skinny barrel M-25 MG in .45 ACP/AR. Saw a custom job once.
I guess I can make do with my M-24-3......

That you have never purchased, and have always thought was really cool or interesting? For me, I think it is the model 544 wagon train in 44-40.. What haunts your mind???

Ma Deuce.

Yeah, I know ...

OK.

Either a pristine M29-2 (Blued) ... WILL get one day!

-or-

pristine Colt Python 6" (Blued) ... Unlikely to obtain.

629-4 backpacker, never seen one, can't find one, every single show I wonder if this is gonna be the time. I'm not even asking for a trail boss or a classic carry. Just a plain backpacker.

A decent, shooter grade .38-.44 Heavy Duty with a 4 or 5 inch barrel.

Yes, Lee, I remember looking at several in your cases at the Wanenmacher Arms Show in Tulsa. [emoji849]

A minty Walther PPK non-import documented bring back rig in 9mm and a MP 40 to go with it.

So there are lots of guns I have thought about but don't own yet. Just in the last week I bought a Beretta 92FS, which I have wanted since Lethal Weapon 1 came out in 1987. As soon as it gets here, I plan to practice shooting while rolling on my back in case any undercover drug busts go sideways.

Other guns on the list include a full size CZ75, S&W M21, M24, double stack 9mm 1911, HK P2000, Walther PPK in .32 ACP, Walther P99, Tokarev TT30 and there's more.

As far as guns I want but will likely never be willing to throw down the cash for, a nice Triple Lock is probly at the top of the list, and a nice WWII 1911 is #2. Thankfully I have a shooter already, but nice BHPs are rapidly getting into this category.
