Model 65

For toting, my 3 inch Model 66 with a pair of K frame, round butt, smooth Target stocks.

For shooting, my 5 inch Model 27-2.

I am seriously toying with the idea of having my 8 shot, 6-1/2 inch Model 27-7 (I think that is what it is, pre-IL, pre-MIM, 200 made) cut down to 5 inches and hard chromed. That would be the cat's wiskers for me.

This 66-3 performance center with comp, trilijon sights etc is my favorite smith .357.

Got to be honest love all S & W revolvers. I carry a 2 1/2" 686 Plus, shoot PPC with a 6" 586. If for some reason I had to keep only one handgun would be a 4" model 19 I bought as a new deputy in 1972 from the Police gun dealer for $136 new

I have a model 27-2 with a 5" barrel that I bought used from Bob Chow in San Francisco around 1985. Its fairly worn I think it probably was a police trade-in. Super smooth action and very accurate. Model 27's are my favorite this one is special to me because the person who sold it was a wonderful person. He also did a trigger job on my model 17-4 it went from an ok smith to a great one.

I would pick my Nickel 27-2 in 6 inch barrel as the last I'd part with. I'd say my blued
27-2 in 6 inch for my favorite 357 shooter.

I'll say Highway Patrolman (best name, biggest frame!), since I don't have any pics of a 586 for some reason:

I have 15 S&W pre-locks in K, L, and N frames. If I could only keep one, it would be a 4" model 19.

28s P&R 4 and 6 inch
19s, P&R 21/2 and 4' and 6"

I need to fire up the digital camera and then I will post a photo or two.

Thanks

Here's mine. It's a 3 inch barreled Fixed Sighted Model 19-3 that is one of 50. Part of an over run. I never get tired of showing this one.
